Saundra K. Hathaway
Saundra holds a B.A. in English and brings more than three decades of documented success for clients in business, technical, and creative writing and copy-editing. She has in-depth experience in a variety of genres, including newspaper and magazine articles, annual reports, web content, brochures, and event materials. In 2011 and 2012, she won Graphic Design USA’s American Graphic Design Award for her copywriting excellence.
For more than two decades, Saundra has worked with numerous clients and their partners to research, plan, write, and edit federal, state, and private grants, and on numerous occasions, she has taught classes and been a speaker on grant writing at state and national conventions.

She also contributed content and served as a practitioner reviewer for two publications produced by the Center for the Study of Social Policy: Strengthening Families: A Guidebook for Early Childhood Programs and Building Capacity for Local Decision Making, a series of learning guides.

Susan Sloate

Sarah Buell Dowling
Sarah is an award-winning artist and illustrator. Her illustrations and the cartoons she creates with her husband, Michael Dowling, add graphic interest and whimsy to the printed text.
After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, Sarah continued her post-graduate studies at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts, and with numerous nationally recognized artists.
She has illustrated three books and several children’s toys. One of these toys received the Toys of the Year award from Parenting Magazine; another was a Children’s Book of the Month Club Main Selection.
