Michael J. Dowling
Michael Dowling, president of Wool Street Writers, is an award-winning ghostwriter, author, and editor. He specializes in producing clear, compelling, and convincing books and papers that get the desired results, while making the writing and publishing process understandable, economical, and enjoyable for his clients.
Michael holds an MBA degree from Columbia Business School in New York City, where he was a Harriman Scholar, and a B.S. in industrial engineering with honors from the University of Florida. Prior to founding Wool Street Writers in 1999, Mike served as president of an educational publishing company, president of a national gift company, controller of a high-tech startup, and administrator of a large church.
Sarah Buell Dowling
Sarah is an award-winning artist and illustrator. Her illustrations and the cartoons she creates with her husband, Michael Dowling, add graphic interest and whimsy to the printed text.
After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, Sarah continued her post-graduate studies at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts, and with numerous nationally recognized artists.
She has illustrated four books and several children’s toys. One of these toys received the Toys of the Year award from Parenting Magazine; another was a Children’s Book of the Month Club Main Selection.
